These are self portraits created by my students. We are doing
Square 1 ART
Square 1 ART
as a fundraiser for the art room.
We talked about an artist named Hundertwasser and did our art in his style.
Basically, Hundertwasser drew the way 2nd grade students really want to draw.
Some of them really make me laugh!
Especially the exaggerated eyes and lips.
Said it many times before...
I have the best job!
What a beautiful post. You know every one of those drawings is worth framing and showcasing. You have some talented students...so lucky to have you as their teacher!

You are doing a great job with them...my sunbeams teacher, when I was a little girl, asked us to add brown to the front of that song and told us about a little brown child that felt left out...my teacher was one of three sweet little old lady teachers, at my church, kids need more of those old ladies in their lives.
