It makes us feel good to find such permanence and beauty in the everyday; in simple, old and broken things. I love your photos - what a wonderful journey to take!
Hi those are some lovely snaps! You're a very good photographer and I thank you for popping in to see me. I've seen those chicks in many colors! If I used mine to hold candy, I'm afraid the candy wouldn't stay in there very long, if you know what I mean! :) be a sweetie, Shelia;)
These are all just beautiful photos, Vicki! You did a lovely job with these!

I love the gentle patina that decay brings to once pristine items - the crackle on the face to the peeling paint on the barns - nature does it best!
ReplyDeleteYes, those are very beautiful simple things. I just loved all your photos. Thank you so much.

Hi Vicki, my favorite is the bathtub. I am forgetting snow my dear and embracing the sun which we actually had today! ♥O
ReplyDeleteLove the green shutters against the faded white clapboard. The stained glass windows were only noticed on second glance.
ReplyDeleteLovely photography. The first picture is my favorite!

Beautiful photography! I adore the broken statue and the church with the green shutters.
ReplyDeleteLovely, Vicki! Stone and rust are two of Nature's most intriguing elements. I love using stone in gardens.
