THE BEAUTY OF THE HOUSE IS ORDER.
THE BLESSING OF THE HOUSE IS CONTENTMENT.
THE GLORY OF THE HOUSE IS HOSPITALITY.
THE CROWN OF THE HOUSE IS GODLINESS.

AND SO IT GOES...
AT MY CONTENTED, HOSPITABLE, GODLY HOME ...WE HAVEN'T QUITE GOT THE MESSAGE ON ORDER...IN SOME PARTS...
Parts like this baker's rack in my basement. Here lies all my broken tiles (ok, and a little bit more) for mosaics.
So I can make things like...
Tables...A Kitchen Backsplash and Mosaic Birdhouses for my yard...
So, I suppose you are dying to see more of my unorderliness...
(don't spell check that)
(don't spell check that)
You must be warned...
you are now venturing into the
TWILIGHT ZONE
you are now venturing into the
TWILIGHT ZONE
(hum the music here)...
Still humming?
Cause this is the dark, dirt part of the basement...scary, webby and for some reason has steps cut out in the dirt...
weirder, AND scarier!
We are back in the stunning area
of the tile, shutter,
tools and cement
Do you just love the
purple 1950's kitchen chair you see in this basement picture?
Found it shopping curbside!
Look hard, there's also a sofa, and a treadmill...
you know you need it!
And I know you are loving those old artificial flowers!
Off to another level of the
TWILIGHT ZONE...
TWILIGHT ZONE...
Hum, Hum...
Now you are no longer in the
basement...phew!
These are pictures from my in the process of being organized work room. I am slowly turning one of my upstairs bedrooms into my work room...
s-l-o-w-l-y, very s-l-o-w-l-y!
I do have up new shelves and have more that are going up soon. It's a start, at bringing order to that room. Somehow, I can't seem to create until I get most things in their place, it stifles me a bit, but it is coming a long. I am creating some things for my booth, and I am finishing some projects started long ago.
There may just be beauty and order in this Contented, Hospitable, Godly home yet...
I needed to share this, it's very freeing for me.
And a much cheaper therapy session.
And a much cheaper therapy session.
Are you STILL humming?
doo...doo, doo...doo, doo...doo, doo...doo...
I'M LINKING THIS THERAPY SESSION TOShe has folks coming out of their cluttered closets over there.

I love it Vicki! Thanks for joining up! I am so excited to do this. I have the creepy basement too. I am just hoping that I don't carry up any snakes in my boxes I am sorting. My challenge might be shortlived!
ReplyDeleteHi Vicki,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for visiting my new blog I Owe it All to Him..it is wonderful to have you! And to be inspired by your work!
This week, I am having a Link party. I'd love it if you could post something...then, everyone could come to your blog. All I'm asking is for people to post their favorite Bible verse on their blogs...pretty simple, but I think it will be very meaningful and we can all learn alot and see how the Lord has worked so wondrously in people's lives.
Hugs and blessings,
Cindy
P.S. I am in New Orleans, but last fall my husband and I were in Perry for an International Horse Show...it is beautiful there!
